Rae Pearson Benn
Rae Pearson Benn, the host of Our Issues Hampton Roads, seamlessly aligns with her commitment to be a public servant in both her personal and professional life. She has served citizens as a media professional at WAVY TV-10, CBN (the Christian Broadcasting Network), the City of Chesapeake’s WCTV under the Public Communications Department, as well as the Office of Attorney General (Mark Herring). She is a former Mrs. Virginia Beach-America 2012, Mrs. Coastal Virginia-America 2014, and was blessed to be featured as a model in the pages of Upscale Magazine, Shades of Beauty Magazine, as a Louisiana Fashion Expo “Signature Model”, on runways, and even local television commercials. God opened the door for her to author an inspiring book entitled “Still Standing,” published by Infinity Publishing in PA. She even shocked herself when she won “Best Actress” in a Web Series or Short Film at the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Black Film Festival for her polar roles as scorned wife, Arleatha, and her demonic tormentor in the film “Who’s That Woman in My Bed.” In addition, on November 6th, ACHI Magazine awarded her the 2016 TV Personality of the year. Rae attributes the joys in her life to God, who granted her her most cherished roles as wife of Terence Benn, Sr. and mother of Rayven and Terence, II.
